FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JCodeBox update available

London, UK - April 1, 2003 - Michael Campbell Associates Ltd have released an update to their Java application and component builder JCodeBox. This update is available to all registered users free of charge. The update contains features requested by JCodeBox users and includes:

  • Improved DataSource JNDI name support
  • The ability to specify parent/implemented types for EJBs
  • Additional code generation options
  • Enhancements to the JCodeBox GUI

JCodeBox allows developers to visually define J2EE/Web applications and then to immediately build, assemble and deploy the application to their Java Application Server for immediate feedback.

One of the key benefits to registered users of JCodeBox is the availability of regular program updates. In addition to containing features proposed by the JCodeBox development team, updates will also include features requested by users. This allows users to have significant input into the shaping and direction of the product.

Major updates, that add significant new areas of functionality to JCodeBox are scheduled for release on a quarterly basis. Minor updates (smaller pieces of functionality, bug fixes, etc) will be released on an ongoing basis.
