Associates Ltd have released another update to their Java application and component builder JCodeBox. This
significant update is available to all registered users free of charge and contains a number of new
features including:
New servlet components
New text components (i.e. for html pages)
New resource components (i.e. for image files)
New web styles that can be applied to the whole web tier
The ability to edit web.xml from within JCodeBox
A code template editor for modifying the XSL code templates
CLOB/BLOB support
Enhanced application server support
Updated JDBC drivers
Documentation updates
JCodeBox allows developers to visually define J2EE/Web applications and then to immediately
build, assemble and deploy the application to their Java Application Server for immediate feedback.
One of the key benefits to registered users of JCodeBox is the availability of regular
program updates. In addition to containing features proposed by the JCodeBox development team, updates will
also include features requested by users. This allows users to have significant input into the shaping and
direction of the product.
